Chris Brown's Battle With Flu Forces Him to Cancel Columbus Concert

Apologizing for having to pull out just hours before the gig, the 'No Guidance' singer promises his Ohio fans that he will give them better show after the rescheduling.

AceShowbiz - Chris Brown has cancelled a show in Columbus, Ohio on Wednesday, September 25, after falling ill with the flu.

Bosses at the city's Nationwide Arena announced the star was pulling the concert just hours before he was due to take to the stage.

Chris then went on to apologise to fans and explain that he is sick in a statement posted to Instagram - promising he will reschedule the show as soon as possible.

"My Ohio fam... I deeply apologize for cancelling the show but my doctors have ordered me to rest as I've been battling a slight case of the flu for a while now," he announced. "I promise we are gonna announce the makeup date asap, I'm coming back to give you an even better show."

Chris' "Indigoat" Tour, which features support from Tory Lanez, Ty Dolla $ign, Joyner Lucas and Yella Beezy, is due to continue in Chicago, Illinois on Thursday.
