Uploading the full tune on her Instagram account, the 'Mean Girls' actress dishes that its accompanying music video features 'a compilation of vignettes of life.'

AceShowbiz - Lindsay Lohan has officially released her musical comeback.

The "Mean Girls" star teased her single "Xanax" last month and she uploaded the full tune on Tuesday, September 24, via Instagram.

The song features Alma, who co-wrote Miley Cyrus' singles "Mother's Daughter" and "Slide Away".

The accompanying music video has also dropped and features "a compilation of vignettes of life".

"Family, love, the process of moving forward and letting go of the past," Lindsay added to the caption. "To live and be happy, free of fear. Just to be grateful and open our eyes to our opportunities instead of numbing the mind."

"Xanax" is Lohan's first release since 2008's "Bossy".
