AceShowbiz - Lenny Kravitz is desperately searching for an "incredibly sentimental" pair of sunglasses he lost over the weekend (September 21-22).

The rocker last wore the vintage piece of eyewear when he performed at the Shrine Auditorium and Expo Hall in Los Angeles, California on Saturday.

Taking to Twitter on Monday morning, the musician posted a set of photos of himself wearing the big square frames with white detailing, as he appealed for the return of the beloved glasses.

"They are incredibly sentimental to me, they are vintage and they belonged to a family member," he explained. "Hoping to get them back, no questions asked."

Lenny Kravitz asked fans to help find missing sunglasses.

In a separate post on his Instagram Stories, he added: "They were sitting up on stage when I let some of the audience up towards the end of the show and they were taken from my riser."

Lenny Kravitz shared additional details about his missing shades.

Fans rushed to help the star recover his favourite piece of eyewear, sharing the post over 5,000 times in the hope it would reach whoever found the glasses. And the "Fly Away" hitmaker even created a special email address - [email protected] - for fans to contact him if they knew the whereabouts of the sunglasses.
