Telling her actor boyfriend not to rush their relationship, the British singer sings on the untitled track, 'Take it slow, baby steps so we don't know when what comes next.'

AceShowbiz - Despite rarely showing their affection in public, Jessie J and Channing Tatum are clearly heads over heels for each other. The British singer loves her actor boyfriend so much that she has written a love song about him that she premiered during her show at the Troubadour in Los Angeles on Sunday, September 22.

Jessie can be heard gushing over Channing on the still-untitled track, telling him that they should not rush their relationship and just enjoy the moment. "Where you go I know I want to follow/ Let's make a promise on today/ Take it slow, baby steps so we don't know when what comes next/ Let's be still, just stay calm, so we're not rushing what we are," she rhymes. "Pressure on, just have fun/ It's not a race, no need to run/ If it's forever/ Let's just simply be in love."

PEOPLE reported that Channing was among the audience at the time and that he earned "plenty of shout-outs" from the "Flashlight" singer on the stage.

It's unclear whether or not Jessie will officially release the song to public.

Jessie and Channing began dating in October 2018, though they did not make their relationship public until last March when they were snapped holding hands in London. The couple has pretty much been private about their romance, with the "Domino" singer revealing the reason during a rare interview with Dan Wootton in June.

She said at the time, "The reason we kept it a secret for as long as we could was because we wanted to really enjoy it without it being magnified into something that it wasn't yet. You don't go on a date with a guy twice for a dinner then fall in love -- well maybe you can, but that's not me. That's not who I am. I need time."
