While expected to be making a complete recovery from his major back injuries, the 'Jumanji: The Next Level' is reported to be still in pain, but has stopped taking painkilling medication.

AceShowbiz - Kevin Hart has returned home to rehab the major back injuries he suffered in a car crash earlier this month (September 2019).

According to TMZ.com, Kevin, who was released from hospital last week (end September 15) to an in-patient rehab facility, is now back home and receiving intensive physical therapy.

Sources close to Kevin tell the website he has viewed photos of the horror crash in his 1970 Plymouth Barracuda on the Mulholland Highway in Calabasas, California, and can't believe he, the driver, or the other passenger in his car survived. He reportedly suffered three spinal fractures that required fusion.

The comedian spent 10 days in the hospital under heavy pain medication and was then transferred to an in-patient facility, but is home now and working with a physical therapist.

TMZ editors report he is still in pain, but has stopped taking painkilling medication as they "knocked him out."

Doctors have reportedly assured him he'll make a full recovery, and the "Ride Along" star is taking a break before getting back to new projects to complete his rehabilitation.

Kevin is apparently grateful to be alive and has "a new perspective on life."

An insider tells the website, "He really cherishes the fact that he's alive, and wants to make the most of it in every respect. The crash had a huge impact on him."
