In related news, Wendy weighs in on Christie Brinkley's decision to exit 'Dancing with the Stars' season 28 ahead of its premiere due to injury and send her daughter Sailor to replace her instead.

AceShowbiz - Wendy Williams has returned for another season of "The Wendy Williams Show". The television personality shut down rumors of her talk show getting canceled after firing her estranged husband Kevin Hunter who previously served as the executive producer of the show alongside Wendy.

During the Monday, September 16 episode, Wendy announced that the show had been renewed for two more seasons, meaning that it will air through 2011 and 2022. "I'm so excited to launch our 11th year by letting the world know I will continue to do what I love to do so much - and for a very long time," she said to her viewers.

She went on saying, "I want to tell FOX and all of our stations today how much their support and confidence means to me. They should know we will never stop working very hard to bring our dedicated Wendy Watchers and audience 'co-hosts' the freshest national daytime television. I heart you for watching."

Wendy also took the season premiere as a chance to throw a shade at Kevin. When the credits rolled at the end of the episode, it could be seen that the line underneath "Executive Producer" snappily read "Just Wendy." Kevin was removed from the show after the 55-year-old TV host filed for divorce from him over cheating scandal.

In related news, Wendy talked about Christie Brinkley who was forced to leave "Dancing with the Stars" season 28 ahead of its premiere. The decision was made after she broke her arm during rehearsal last week, leading her daugher Sailor Brinkley Cook to replace her mom's place on the dancing competition show. Wendy thought that it was all staged.

"Well, that looked fake as hell," the host said of the footage from "Good Morning America" which saw Christie tripping over her partner's foot during a turn which made her tumble to the ground. "Let me tell you what I see. I don't see a wrist and a shoulder being fractured. But that was real cute."

She continued, "Here's my thought: 'Dancing with the Stars' called Christie Brinkley … and she said yes. After she got off the phone, that’s when she plotted her schedule. … In my opinion, I think what Christie did was she signed up for 'Dancing with the Stars' knowing that she’d put her daughter Sailor in there."

Christie denied the accusations in an interview with PEOPLE. "i'm totally shocked, because I have been there for Wendy Williams. That is so weird," she said while bursting into tears. "I have to give her a call … I'm really stunned."
