Fans are convinced that the 'Only Girl (In the World)' singer is having a bun in the oven after she talked about giving birth in an interview and showed what looked like a baby bump during the annual charity gala.

AceShowbiz - Rihanna has been hit with pregnancy rumors following her appearance at the 2019 Diamond Ball on Thursday night, September 12. During an interview with Essence on the red carpet, the 31-year-old singer/fashion designer talked about giving birth.

"I'm a black woman. I came from a black woman, who came from a black woman, who came from a black woman and I'm going to give birth to a black woman," she said about how exceptional black women are.

She continued her empowering message, "My mother is an incredible example of how to fight through obstacles in life. I'm sure her mom taught her that and that's how I'm going to be. We are impeccable, we're special, we're special and the world is going to have to deal with that."

With that short quote about giving birth, fans are convinced that the Barbadian beauty is about to be a mom soon. "I found out Rihanna is pregnant and I've cancelled my appearance at school today," a fan dramatically tweeted. Another reacted to Rih's rumored pregnancy, "Rihanna is pregnant. This is a lot to take in right now."

A third Twitter user wrote, "Ok, so Rihanna is pregnant actually for real! She said 'I'm gonna give birth to a black woman' RIP next album, hello lil RiRi." Another quipped, "So Rihanna is pregnant and i'm not the child? i hate this life."

Some others took notice of Rihanna's seemingly protruding belly underneath her black skintight dress and believed that it's a tiny baby bump. "Rihanna's finally back and.. pregnant???" someone captioned a clip of the "Diamonds" hitmaker's performance onstage at the event.

Another commented, "Rihanna is PREGNANT wellllll that's definitely not a FOOD BUMP. Congrats baby." Someone else added, "If Rihanna try to say that 'baby bump' was the skirt she was wearing under her dress ima he a lil hurt."

One person, however, pointed out that Rihanna was drinking from a glass of champagne during the fifth annual charity ball, so she might not be pregnant after all.

Rihanna has not responded to the pregnancy speculation. The Grammy Award-winning artist, who has been dating Saudi billionaire Hassan Jameel since 2017, said she's "really happy" at the event. "I mean I could be out here and throw a ball by myself and I'd feel good, but the thing that's making me feel this high on cloud 9 is seeing people who believe in my cause and think it's something worth donating to, something worth investing in," she told PEOPLE.
