Court papers have uncovered that the 'Toxic' hitmaker chose not to attend the hearing since she does not object to Jodi Montgomery being in charge of her care in place of her father.

AceShowbiz - Britney Spears is apparently happy with her current conservatorship arrangement.

On Monday, September 9, a judge ruled the singer's longtime "care-manager" Jodi Montgomery can take her father Jamie's place as conservator while he undergoes ankle surgery. Jodi will have the power to "limit visitors by any means," retain caretakers and security guards for Britney, and communicate with her doctors about her "medical treatment, diagnosis, and testing" - after she was admitted to a mental health treatment facility earlier in the year.

However, according to reports Jamie is still ensconced as the conservator of Britney's estate, meaning he has total control over her investments, business deals, income and expenditure.

And while there has been a strong #FreeBritney movement from the "Toxic" star's fans on social media, urging lawmakers to free her from the arrangement, documents from Monday's hearing suggest she's on board with the arrangements.

In papers obtained by The Blast, Britney's court-appointed attorney told the court he spoke with his client and the star has no issue with the legal situation she is in, and has no objections to the conservatorship.

The lawyer informed the court the "Womanizer" singer did not attend "because she does not object to the proposed temporary conservator or prefer another temporary conservator."
