The 19-year-old up-and-coming singer reportedly has 'been crying to come home' and 'distraught' because she has to work 'eight to 12 hours a day' in the studio.

AceShowbiz - Sela Vave isn't completely happy working with Jamie Foxx, so a new report claims. Though the 19-year-old previously expressed her gratitude to be taken under his wings, rumor has surfaced that her workload has taken its toll on her mentally.

According to Radar Online, the young model, who was previously reported as 21 years old, has been homesick while living in the actor/comedian's house. She reportedly has been "in tears" because she feels "overworked" and misses her family.

"Sela's been distraught. She's been in the studio eight to 12 hours a day," a source says of Sela's daily routine. "The regimented schedule of being part of Jamie Foxx and his label is just overwhelming," the so-called insider goes on claiming. "She's been in tears for quite some time, saying, 'I want to go home. I want to see my family.' "

"She had been crying to come home a couple weeks ago," the source goes on telling the site. Jamie allegedly tried to console her by giving her a three-day break. "Over the weekend, Jamie was like, 'Look, I'll buy you a ticket but you can only be gone for 3 days,' " so the source spills. Sela reportedly was able to spend quality time with her family over the weekend.

Jamie previously admitted that he let Sela stay in his place despite debunking their romance rumors. The 51-year-old claimed he treated her like he treated Ed Sheeran and Nick Cannon. "When I met Ed Sheeran... He slept on my couch for six weeks," he said on Instagram Live back in August. "Nick Cannon was 13 years old, he used to sleep at my old house ... everybody come to my crib. I did the same thing with her ... We took her under our wing ... We wanted to treat her the same way and give her the opportunity."

He blasted the speculation about a romance with Sela as a "double standard," explaining, "We want to make sure she has the opportunity to show you the talent we saw. All of the unnecessary hate for the woman, just because the guys are coming here and they're working hard, but when a girl does it, she has an ulterior motive. Stop that s**t."
