AceShowbiz - Wendy Williams may or may not be heading to "The Bachelorette" to find a new love. The daytime talk show host revealed in Thursday, September 5 episode of "The View" that ABC approached her to get her to be next star of the dating competition. During her appearance, Wendy also addressed the rumors of her joining "The Real Housewives of New York City".
"I think the ['RHONY'] rumors are really juicy because they also asked me to be 'The Bachelorette'," Wendy told "The View" co-hosts. Alluding that she wasn't interested in the gig, she added, "Laying up in the bed with 20 different men on TV? I'm not that girl."
"I've got the purple chair. I've worked my whole life for that! No, but thank you for that. I'm not doing that," she shared.
Wendy also used the opportunity to set the records straight about her show "The Wendy Williams Show". "My show is not moving from New York to LA; that was another rumor. There was also a rumor that this was my last season -- no! I love what I do," she annnounced.
The 55-year-old TV personality also spoke candidly about her divorce from her ex, Kevin Hunter, whom she married to for 22 years. Referring to the upcoming 11th season of "The Wendy Williams Show", she took a jab at Kevin and said, "I'm not a selfish mom. I'm a very plot-ative individual. Like I will plot on you. That's why I'm going into season 11 and he's changing Pampers. Infidelity is one thing, a full baby is a whole other topic."
"I'm not changing Pampers, I want to be pampered," she continued. "If we don't laugh, then we'll cry... I've learned...from my mother how to make lemons into lemonade in life."
About cheating on her, Wendy said, "You do this? Get out. You just can't throw away 25 years and then start talking recklessly about the other person. Otherwise, what does that say about you? It's now time for me to move on with my life." She declared, "I'm a wife, not a girlfriend. Dating is fun... My dance card has been full."
