AceShowbiz - Country singer Kylie Rae Harris has died following a three-vehicle crash in New Mexico on Wednesday night (September 04).
The 30-year-old and another driver were killed in the accident.
"We are heartbroken to confirm that Kylie Rae Harris passed away in a car accident last night," the singer's publicist tells Billboard. "We have no further details to share, and ask for privacy for her family at this time."
"Everyone that knew Kylie knew how much she loved her family and, beyond that, how much she loved music. The best tribute to her unmatched enthusiasm for both is to spread as much love as you can today, and listen to music that fully inspires you."
Harris posted a tweet just before her death, praying to reach a gas station before she ran out of fuel.
"Fuel range is 46 miles and I'm 36 from the nearest gas station," she wrote. "Dear baby Jesus please don't let me get stranded in New Mexico."
Harris released two albums and her latest EP in March and she'll be best remembered for "Twenty Years From Now", a song she co-wrote four years ago as a prayer for her now-six-year-old daughter.
The lyrics include the lines, "My prayer is that somehow/You'll forgive all my mistakes and be proud of the choice I made/God I hope I'm still around/Twenty years from now."
