Although the 'Fashion Killa' rapper was left disappointed by the decision over his June 30 street fight, his lawyer Slobodan Jovicic claims that the MC doesn't have the energy to contest the ruling.

AceShowbiz - A$AP Rocky won't be appealing his misdemeanour assault conviction in Sweden.

The rapper's lawyer, Slobodan Jovicic, has told the country's TT news agency his client doesn't have the energy to appeal the verdict, handed down last month (August 19) following a June 30 street fight in Stockholm.

Rocky, real name Rakim Mayers, spent a month behind bars in the city as lawmakers investigated the incident. He maintained he was acting in self-defence after a man attacked his bodyguard.

The rap star released a statement following the verdict, revealing he was "disappointed" by the judge's decision.

He and his two co-defendants were ordered to pay over $22,000 (£18,000) in restitution and legal fees to the 19-year-old victim, Mustafa Jafari, and handed "conditional sentences."

All three face time behind bars if they commit a similar offence in Sweden.
