In related news, it's reported that Meghan has made a 'very difficult decision' as the Duchess of Sussex allegedly has no any intention of letting Thomas ever see his grandson Archie.

AceShowbiz - Meghan Markle's father Thomas Markle has been quiet for a little while, but now he's speaking out again. The 74-year-old, who currently lives in Mexico, opens up to Daily Mail about being ghosted by her royal daughter and how she and Prince Harry didn't let him meet their newborn baby Archie.

"I would like them to send me a picture of Archie so I can frame it and put it on my wall beside the one of Meghan," he said during the interview, for which he reportedly wasn't compensated. "Isn't that what any grandfather would want? I'd love to know if he's got the famous Markle nose."

The former lighting director went on saying that despite general public's opinion, he does love Meghan. "Sometimes I get the feeling people think I don't love my daughter," he said. "I do love her very much," Thomas shared. "I would love nothing more than to put a picture of Archie in a frame and place it beside the one of Meghan ... Of course I'm disappointed not to see Archie. I had hoped becoming a mother would mellow Meghan and she would reach out."

Thomas added that "there was never any problem between Meghan and me until recently." He explained, "I've stayed quiet because Meghan was pregnant with Archie but I'm speaking out now because they and their PR people are continuing to ghost me out of her life."

He also expressed his disappointment as he hadn't had a chance to meet his grandchild, who is soon to be 4 months old. "I've still never met my son-in-law," he said. "Why couldn't Prince Harry have got on a plane and flown to see me to ask for her hand? He obviously has no problem getting on private jets."

During the interview, Thomas admitted to doing "a huge mistake" by arranging for a paparazzi photo shoot leading to her royal wedding to the British prince. "I wanted to apologize to the Royal Family publicly but Meghan and Harry told me not to," he said. "So I texted Jason Knauf, who was Harry and Meghan's then press secretary, and he asked me what I'd like to say? I said I wanted to apologize to the Queen and the Royal Family and that I meant no harm. That apology never came out. I don't know why."

Despite that, Thomas didn't seem to mind criticizing the royal couple. Calling them "hypocritical," Thomas slaimed the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, "Everyone raves about how gracious and wonderful they are, but they are not wonderful to their own family. That's hypocritical. You can't portray yourself as being charitable and bringing people together and then ghost your own father and your entire family. Their treatment of me has left a lot to be desired."

In related news, it was reported that Meghan had made a "very difficult decision" as the Duchess of Sussex was said to be not having any intention of letting Thomas ever see his grandson Archie. "Thomas hasn’t met Harry and it’s unlikely he'll meet Archie either," a source claimed to The Sun.

"It's a terribly sad situation but Meghan has made the very difficult decision that she doesn’t have an active relationship with her father any more," the source added, "This was actually a decision she made some time ago and it is something she's now coming to terms with. It's obviously heart-breaking for her but she has to protect herself, her husband and her son."
