News about Jenji Kohan's dissolution of marriage to Christopher Noxon comes just hours after her Lifetime series, 'American Princess', got canceled after just one season.

AceShowbiz - "Orange Is the New Black" creator Jenji Kohan is officially single again after settling her divorce from husband Christopher Noxon.

She has agreed to hand over close to $15 million (£12.3 million) to keep the rights and royalties to her hit Netflix prison drama.

The couple wed in 1997 and shares three children.

The divorce news broke hours after Kohan's series "American Princess" was cancelled by bosses at U.S. cable network Lifetime after just one season.

The TV mogul executive produced the show, starring Georgia Flood, about a New York socialite who runs away with a travelling Renaissance Faire troupe.
