The photo was taken way back when the hotel heiress was still a little girl, featuring her, sister Nicky Hilton and their parents posing with the late King of Pop.

AceShowbiz - Paris Hilton was among the people who paid tribute to Michael Jackson on what would be his 61st birthday on Thursday, August 29. Taking to her Instagram account, the hotel heiress shared a never-before-seen photo of her family and the late star.

The photo was taken way back when Paris was still a little girl. The socialite-turned-DJ looked cute in a white top teamed with a red overall as she styled her blonde hair with a matching ribbon. Her sister Nicky Hilton, meanwhile, donned a red dress and a matching bandana. Michael was seen posing in between Paris' parents, who flashed a smile to the camera.

"Happy Birthday #MichaelJackson! Love & Miss You," she wrote underneath the post, which has been liked by more than 600,000 users as of press time.

Paris' family had always been close with Michael even before she was born, since her mother, Kathy, and the "Heal the World" singer were close friends when they attended the same high school. Opening up about their friendship in an interview with Piers Morgan back in May 2011, Kathy said, "We met when I was 13 and he was 14, and developed a friendship and a bond throughout the years. And we always kept in touch."

She went on recalling the "great time" that they had together, such as that one time when Michael came to New York to visit her new home and how she never missed out his concerts. The late King of Pop even came to visit Kathy when she gave birth to Paris. "Right before he died, he was at the Bel-Air Hotel [in L.A.], where we were living while we were renovating out home," Kathy remembered. "So he was there about three or four months. So we got to spend, you know, great time."
