The University of Central Florida has also issued a statement regarding his tirade during the free event, claiming that the 'SNL' star's abusive language and use of a derogatory slur is disappointing.

AceShowbiz - Pete Davidson wants you to focus on him when he's performing a stand-up. Earlier this week, the "Saturday Night Live" star delivered a comedy set for students at the University of Central Florida, but things went intense as he noticed that some of them pulled out their photos during the set.

In videos posted on several platforms, Pete could be seen getting angry at the student audience for breaking the no-cellphone rule during the show which was set to welcome uni students who had returned for their fall semester. "Whenever somebody else comes to your f***ing town and is exhausted and flies all the way to the middle of f***ing nowhere to do jokes for you privileged little a**holes, don't f***ing ruin the show for people who actually want to be here," he shared.

"That's why we're embarrassing. That's why the world is gonna end in 25 years, because you're all f***ing r******d," he continued ranting. "Idiots. You should f***ing grow up. It says no phones. ... Where's the next generation? … Don't you want your parents to be proud of you? … Now we'll continue."

Several showgoers didn't take his remarks well and it didn't take long before they expressed their feeling on social media. "imagine going on a 5 minute … rant about how you hate millennials recording s**t and then tryna backtrack into making it a motivational speech. we ain't even pay to see this s**t;;;; reLAX!" one said.

One other audience member added, "it was a S**T SHOW! he went on a whole rant bcs a few ppl were recording and he started yelling about how we need to grow up and that we're r-words and b****es and then he was like mad bcs no one was LAUGHING! u could feel the tension and how uncomfortable it was."

The University of Central Florida had also issued a statement regarding his tirade, claiming that it was disappointing. "Mr Davidson's abusive language, particularly his use of a derogatory slur, is contrary to the University of Central Florida's values of inclusion and respect for all. It's disappointing that his rant spoiled an event that was meant to welcome students back for the fall semester," the statement read.
