AceShowbiz - The latest episode of "Bachelor in Paradise" season 6 saw Dean Unglert and Caelyn Miller-Keyes being on the verge of breaking up. In the Tuesday, August 27 episode, Dean eventually told Caelynn that he wasn't really sure that their relationship would last long, much to Twitterverse's annoyance.
It started after Demi Burnett and Wells Adams warned Caelynn about Dean's bad reputation regarding his messy dating habits. They urged Caelynn to talk about it with Dean, and she did because she wanted something serious out of her and Dean's relationship.
She later shared her concerns with Dean, telling him how everyone has told her to be careful with dating him and that she didn't want to get hurt. However, instead getting an assurance, she was getting warned.
"All I know is I'm enjoying spending my time with you, and I don't want to spend it with any other girl while I'm here," Dean told her. He then later implied that he wasn't ready to settle down for good.
"But I suck at dating," he admitted. "It's challenging for me to see myself getting to a point where I'm like, 'All right, I'm ready to settle down now.' But now I'm going to take off in this van for nine months so I can be as free as possible."
Dean added that he didn't want "a normal life" and didn't want to "go to dinner parties on Saturday night and to talk about our feelings and our emotions." As if that wasn't enough, he also told Caelynn she would be miserable as his girlfriend. It's safe to assume that Dean didn't plan to change his dating habits for Caelynn, who understandably cried following the relevation.
However, it seemed like she easily forgot everything he had said to her after Dean helped her celebrate her birthday. "Dean has made my birthday so special. He got the whole beach to sing 'Happy Birthday' to me. Had a birthday cake," Caelynn excitedly said in a confessional. "He really has grown and I can see that. We talk about serious things. We talk about what we want in a partner, in a future, in a life and all that."
"I mean, I get excited about us," she added. "And the more I get to know about him, the more excited I get."
The whole situation prompted Twitter to drag both of them, making Caelynn trending on the blue bird app. "Caelynn thinks Dean made this birthday special?? Cuz he brought her a cake?? Has she never had a birthday before??" one confused viewer wrote. Another user mocked Caelynn for not being able to tell where she stood even after Dean's warning.
That's not the only thing that made Caelynn trend. Fans were also talking about Caelynn's rapid mood change after crying over Dean as she was seen checking out Connor S. "caelynn going from crying over Dean to checking out Connor in seconds flat is a mood," one fan tweeted. "Caelynn eyef***ing the shit out of Connor approximately 5 minutes after crying over Dean," one other echoed.
Season 6 of "Bachelor in Paradise" airs on Mondays and Tuesdays on 8 P.M. on ABC.
