The VH1 star is captured on camera cheering enthusiastically when the rapper is named the winner of Song of the Year during the show, but Nas doesn't even look at Bobby.

AceShowbiz - Bobby Lytes made sure to let Lil Nas X know how much he likes him when they both attended the 2019 MTV Video Music Awards at the Prudential Center in New Jersey on Monday night, August 26. However, his display of affection apparently was too much to bear to the point where he ended up getting blasted by people.
It got worse when Nas was announced as the winner of Song of the Year for his record-breaking "Old Town Road". Bobby was captured on camera cheering so enthusiastically as he went down the stairs to congratulate him. But instead of thanking the "Love & Hip Hop: Miami" star's friendly gesture, Nas approached his collaborator Billy Ray Cyrus and hugged him without looking at Bobby.
This prompted people to troll Bobby. "Bobby. He doesn't want you sis. I hope you get the picture now," one comment read. Another said, "Bobby Lytes really tried to get acknowledged by him and he was DENIED." Making fun of the VH1 star's bright yellow outfit, one said, "Can somebody tell that bottle of mustard to sit down."
"Bobby punk a** thought she was getting a hug miss nas paid it," someone else commented. "Bobby being thirsty af and Lil nas didn't even acknowledge him," one other pointed out. Some others, meanwhile, called Bobby's act "embarrassing," with one saying, "Security needs to escort Bobby out. We don't need to be seeing the living embodiment of feces on national television."
Bobby has been very vocal about his crush on Nas ever since the latter came out as gay during Pride Month. He even named the rapper his new Man Crush Monday through an Instagram post that featured a photo of Nas rocking a cowboy outfit. "#MCM somebody tell Lil NasX I'm tryna riiiiiide till I can't no more!" he wrote in the caption, referencing to the lyrics of "Old Town Road".
