The 'Coming 2 America' star is making a return to the TV sketch show after 35 years, while 'Killing Eve' writer Phoebe Waller-Bridge will make her debut in October alongside musical guest Taylor Swift.

AceShowbiz - Eddie Murphy is returning to the TV sketch show that helped launch his career for a hosting gig in December.

The comedian will front the Christmas episode of "Saturday Night Live" on 21 December, making his first appearance as the show's host since 1984.

The new season of the hit show will open with Woody Harrelson as host and Billie Eilish as musical guest on 28 September, but the season's highlight episode is sure to be "Fleabag" star and creator and James Bond writer Phoebe Waller-Bridge's "SNL" debut on 5 October, when Taylor Swift will be the musical guest.

The "ME!" singer was thrilled when she discovered she would be on the show with Phoebe, because she's a big fan of the Brit.

"Ever since I saw Fleabag, I've been all 'I can't wait to see this woman host @nbcsnl' and it's happening now + I get to be there too = I am in shambles - Oct 5th," Swift tweeted.
