Riley Burruss was previously criticized when she asked her followers on the site to send her some money on CashApp when her mom is most likely richer than all of them.

AceShowbiz - Riley Burruss didn't only receive presents and money on her 17th birthday, but she also decided to give out to others. Following the backlash that she received for asking for birthday money from her Instagram followers, the daughter of Kandi Burruss returned to the site over the weekend to announce her plans of sending money to one lucky fan.

Alongside a photo of herself and "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" star when they were vacationing in Seoul, South Korea, Riley said that she decided to do it in order to thank everyone who had sent her birthday messages when she celebrated her milestone on August 22. "I want to spread love back to y'all: I will be cashapping one of my followers $500," she said, before explaining what they needed to do in order to get a chance of getting the money.

"So like this post, swipe up on my story and send me your cashapp, and I will pick a random person to send it to," Riley continued writing. "Thanks for the love on my birthday! Love you guys! I'll send it tomorrow at noon."

This arrives after Riley was criticized for asking her followers for birthday money when her mother is obviously richer than all of them. At the time, the teenager posted a screengrab of her CashApp profile and wrote in the caption, "It's my birthday everyone! Show me some love! (EDIT: It's my birthday, y'all. My mom has money I don't.)"

Riley was even reminded that she had no right to ask for money when she drives Porsche, with one follower telling her, "Rich ppl asking for money from poor ppl. Sounds like the government." Another comment read, "Girl it's ppl out here STRUGGLING in REAL life and you asking coins from the average Joe when your mom is rolling in doe!? No ma'am!! Happy birthday. Take this moment to reflect, give thanks, and GIVE BACK. Not take! Happy birthday beautiful."
