AceShowbiz - Less than a year after they started dating, WWE superstars Becky Lynch and Seth Rollins have taken their relationship to the next level. The Irish professional wrestler announced on Thursday, August 22 that she and her athlete lover had gotten engaged.
Becky took to her Instagram account to make the announcement, sharing a photo of her and Seth cuddling up on the rocky beach with her hand on his chest to show off her engagement ring. Calling it the "happiest day of my life," the redhead beauty added in the caption, "For the rest of my life." She also put a couple of ring emojis and a red heart emoji.
Many of her fellow wrestlers and friends have showered the couple with congratulatory messages. Brie Bella said, "Yay!!! Congrats!!! So happy for you both!!!!" Meanwhile, her sister Nikki Bella wrote in the comment section, "Awww yay! Love this so much! You deserve all the happiness in the world!!! Love you Becky!!!" Daria Berenato gushed over them, "Omg omg omg stop!" while Sheamus welcomed Seth "to The Family."
Seth and Becky sparked dating rumors back in April, when they were seen sitting together during the WWE Hall of Fame festivities. The former then made their relationship Instagram official in the following month by sharing a black-and-white photo of them passionately kissing backstage. Mentioning the 32-year-old, he wrote underneath the photo at the time, "I guess I'm allowed to post this now...?"
The lovebirds made their red carpet debut as a couple at the 2019 MTV Movie and TV Awards in Los Angeles on June 15. Speaking to HollywoodLife.com, Becky said that they were looking forward to where their romance took them and that "I think we are stronger together anyways." Meanwhile, Seth addressed one of his tweets that read, "When I found you, I found me." He said of the post to the gossip site, "People can look into it any way they want."
