While the 'Single Lady' singer was seen flashing a wide smile though she looked visibly shocked by Kanye's sudden outburst, the RnB singer allegedly was far from smiling at the backstage.

AceShowbiz - It's been 10 years after Kanye West infamously interrupted Taylor Swift's acceptance speech at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards for winning Best Female Video in favor of Beyonce Knowles. And now, more details have emerged online, explaining how the "Lemonade" hitmaker processed the shocking incident backstage.

At the time, Beyonce was seen flashing a wide smile though she looked visibly shocked. However, the R&B singer allegedly was far from smiling at the backstage, according to a new report by Billboard. The report suggests that Beyonce was found by a producer of the show backstage, crying with her father, Mathew Knowles, after Kanye's outburst.

Beyonce, who was nominated in the same category for her video for the iconic hit "Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It)", allegedly cried not because she was upset for not winning. Instead, she cried because she felt sorry for Taylor, who was only 19 years old at the time.

"I walk behind the stage--and sure enough there is Beyonce and her dad, and she is crying. She was like, 'I didn't know this was going to happen, I feel so bad for her.' And that's when it started to click in my head, and maybe hers, about potentially having the whole arc play out in that one night," Former Viacom president Van Toffler recalled the moment.

He went on adding, "At some point I let her know that she was probably going to be up on the podium at the end of the show for an award. And wouldn't it be nice to have Taylor come up and have her moment then?"

Taylor was also said to be understandably crying after the humiliating accident. People might remember how Kanye went up the stage during her speech and snatched the mic away from her. "Yo, Taylor, I'm really happy for you, I'mma let you finish. But Beyonce had one of the best videos of all time! One of the best videos of all time!" Kanye said in front of the Radio City Music Hall crowd. The camera later panned to Beyonce, who mouthed the words, "Oh, Kanye!"

The moment was the beginning of Kanye and Taylor's longtime feud.
