AceShowbiz - Matt Roloff can't even celebrate the impending arrival of his new grandson in peace. The "Little People, Big World" star shared on Instagram a video from Jeremy and Audrey Roloff's gender reveal party, but instead of receiving congratulatory messages, people accused him of excluding his ex wife Amy Roloff from the celebration since they didn't see her in the video.
The clip showed Matt watching his son and Audrey wave sticks that emit clouds of blue smoke as his girlfriend, Caryn Chandler, was sitting beside him. However, people couldn't spot Amy at all in the clip and that was what made them upset. Some didn't even hesitate to accuse him of excluding Amy from the celebration as one asked, "Why wasn't Amy included?" Another noted, "Why do something like this and exclude Amy. I just feel bad for her. DIVORCE SUCKS!"
Some others, meanwhile, complained about Caryn's attendance at the party. "Wow Matt your girlfriend sure screamed so loud... wheres GRANDMOM at ???" an individual took jab at both him and Caryn, while someone else said, "Where was Amy. This is her grandchild not Caryn."
Matt has yet to respond to the backlash, though there were fans who came to his defense by pointing out that Amy could be seen in the beginning of the clip, meaning she wasn't excluded from the celebration.
Amy herself didn't seem to mind the controversy because after the gender reveal party, she went on helping her future daughter-in-law Isabel Rock celebrate at her bridal shower. The star did all the cooking and shared pictures from the celebration with her social media followers. She wrote in one post, "Aww... what a fun bridal shower for Isabel."
"I had a blast seeing all of her friends again and them sharing stories about how they know her," she continued. "She has some deep roots w/ many of them. She's marrying my youngest, Jacob, and I'm so happy for them and that she'll be joining the family."
