During his appearance on 'The Breakfast Club', the 'Purple Lamborghini' rapper says that the Young Money female emcee was 'a huge talent' during their meeting with Barack Obama.

AceShowbiz - It doesn't take that long for Rick Ross to respond to Nicki Minaj's recent diss. Instead of snapping back at the Young Money female emcee, the "Purple Lamborghini" rapper had nothing but nice words to her when he stopped by "The Breakfast Club" on Thursday, August 15.

For those who need a reminder, when Nicki put Rick on blast in an episode of Joe Budden's podcast series, she mentioned the time when the latter told Meek Mill that she was a keeper during a meeting with Barack Obama. However, he later blasted her on his 2017 song "Apple of My Eyes". Now, Rick attempted to defuse the situation and revealed how he felt during the meeting.

He said, "I mean, if somebody went to meet Obama with you, she is a keeper until you find out otherwise." Rick further remembered, "She was around me a few times but other than that, she was a huge talent but she was playing a very important position at the time. She was in between Meek and Drake at the time," referring to the two male rappers' past beef.

Mentioning that Nicki had "a very fragile role" at that time, Rick stated, "But most definitely when I seen it go sour, it would be easy to assume she may have had something to do with that and if somebody tells you they didn't, they're lying. But everybody moved forward. She moved forward, she doing her thing. I'm happy to see her do that."

Nicki apparently saw the interview, but rather than reacting to Rick's response, she put her focus on the fact that Charlamagne Tha God kept mentioning her on "The Breakfast Club" when she'd been banned from the show. "Charlemagne get so excited when he thinks some1 bout to day smthn negative about me," she wrote. "That tail get to wagging, that lil p***y get to poppin, he get to giggling."

She continued, "They banned me from the show but always talkn bout me. I'm pullin up cuz we in NY soon. I'd rather be invited tho js."
