The former 'Whitney' star shares her own topless photo to prevent 'foolish dorks' from making money off the picture, which she accidentally posted on Instagram Stories several months ago.

AceShowbiz - Whitney Cummings has shut down an extortion attempt over her topless photo. The 36-year-old actress/writer revealed on Monday, August 12 that some people tried to make money off the picture showing her nipple which she accidentally posted on Instagram Stories several months before.

"In April I accidentally posted an insta story that showed nipple. Once I realized, I deleted," Whitney tweeted. "The people who took screen grabs are trying to get money from me, some said they have offers to sell them, some are asking for money to not post the photo."

Not letting the threat scare her, the "2 Broke Girls" creator shared the photo in question on Twitter. "They all must think I'm way more famous than I am, but they also must think I'm way more easily intimidated than I am. If anyone is gonna make money or likes off my nipple, it's gonna be me," she wrote along with the photo. "So here it all is, you foolish dorks."

She continued lamenting the extortion attempt in another post, "When a woman in the public eye is extorted, we have to spend time, money and energy dealing with it, hiring lawyers and security experts, and living with a pit in our stomach about when and how we will be humiliated. Y'all can have my nipple, but not my time or money anymore."

"I'm not posting the names of the people trying to extort me because some of them might be dumb kids. I wouldn't want the stupid ideas I had when I was a teenager to follow me around forever or else every time someone Googled me, they'd see me shoplifting a NO FEAR t-shirt," she added.

Whitney later revealed that the alleged extortionist claimed to have access to her iCloud account and threatened to leak anything from it, but she wouldn't wither. "Now I'm getting threatened with 'we have access to your iCloud.' I'll be honest, I stand by most of my nudes," so she claimed, before jokingly saying, "Frankly I'm way more embarrassed by all the inspirational quotes I've screen grabbed."

Whitney has since received support from her followers, with one writing, "Sorry this is happening to you @WhitneyCummings but I love that you took the power over your body back. F**k these cowards."

Another similarly commented, "It's a f***ing nipple. You have nothing to be embarrassed about. @WhitneyCummings you made the right choice for you and I'm glad to see you have such amazing friends supporting your even if it means I know what Bert's balls look like!"
