'Avengers: Endgame' is the biggest winner in movie field, sweeping the awards in all Choice Action Movie categories in addition to bagging the Choice Movie Villain.

AceShowbiz - Teen viewers' favorites have been revealed at the recently concluded 2019 Teen Choice Awards. Leading with nine nominations, "Avengers: Endgame" came out as the biggest winner in movie field with four wins.

The fourth and final "Avengers" movie swept all the awards in action movie categories, including Choice Action Movie, Choice Action Movie Actor for Robert Downey Jr. and Choice Action Movie Actress for Scarlett Johansson.

Downey Jr. beat his own co-stars Chris Evans and Chris Hemsworth for the prize, while Johansson edged out "Captain Marvel" and "Endgame" star Brie Larson as well as Zoe Saldana, who also stars in "Endgame". "Captain Marvel" and another Marvel movie, "Ant-Man and the Wasp", were also nominated for Choice Action Movie.

"Endgame" earned its fourth Teen Choice Award in Choice Movie Villain category for Josh Brolin's performance as Thanos.

Also collecting multiple prizes were "Aladdin", "After" and "Spider-Man: Far From Home". Disney's live-action remake on its animated classic nabbed Choice Sci-Fi/Fantasy Movie, Choice Sci-Fi/Fantasy Movie Actor for Will Smith and Choice Sci-Fi/Fantasy Movie Actress for Naomi Scott.

"After", meanwhile, surprisingly defeated last summer's sensation "To All the Boys I've Loved Before" in all Choice Drama Movie categories. The romantic drama's leads Hero Fiennes Tiffin and Josephine Langford were picked as Choice Drama Movie Actor and Actress, respectively.

As for "Spider-Man: Far From Home", it's named Choice Summer Movie and helped its stars Tom Holland and Zendaya Coleman win one each for Choice Summer Movie Actor and Actress, respectively.

Last year's hit "Crazy Rich Asians" won Choice Comedy Movie, while Noah Centineo, who lost the Choice Drama Movie Actor to Hero Fiennes Tiffin, was consoled with a win for Choice Comedy Movie Actor for his role in "The Perfect Date". His co-star Laura Marano was also hailed as Choice Comedy Movie Actress.

The annual Teen Choice Awards was held on Sunday, August 11 in Hermosa Beach, California this year. Hosted by Lucy Hale and David Dobrik, the event also presented awards for teens' choice in music, TV and other categories.
