AceShowbiz - Lamar Odom's new romance with girlfriend Sabrina Parr keeps facing negative comments. Amid the negativity, Sabrina had no choice than jumping into her man's defense when the speculations that the former NBA star doesn't date black women emerged online.

A person commented, "Look at all the women he dated do they look black no." The user went on saying of Sabrina in another comment, "This girl is so light she doesnt look blackā€¦ She's so light doesn't look black to me. He doesn't date brown women."

The health and life coach then attempted to clarify that Lamar did date a black women before including "Hidden Figures" star Taraji P. Henson. "he dated Taraji and MANY other brown women! Just cuz you don't see it doesn't mean it isn't happening. All that SHOULD matter is if he's happy or not, right?"

Prior to this, the pair were accused of faking their relationship. However, a manager for the couple, Zoul El Fassi, spoke against the rumors. "Let me first start of saying this: the only reason for that story being out there is because a former ex management person decided to put some bad press on Sabrina & Lamar," Fassi claimed to theJasmineBRAND.

"Lamar has tremendous love for the Kardashians. They have been his family since they got married and even after. Lamar had a hard life and never really felt the love of a family and home since his mother and grandmother passed away," he added. "The Kardashians gave that to him and it was real. The love between Khloe and Lamar was real."

He continued, "This whole conspiracy about the Kardashians putting curses on men is a made up fairytale of people that maybe couldn't accept Lamar's love was for Khloe. Lamar is trying to build something that is close to what he shared with Khloe. He is just trying to move on. Sabrina has had an amazing influence on him and I really welcomed her into his life. He started to fall in love with life. We need to support and respect that."

The former athlete himself previously hit back at critics who accused him of comparing Sabrina to his ex-wife Khloe Kardashian after he shared an appreciative post about Sabrina. In addition to feeling "a bit disappointed" over the wrong assumption, he clarified, "This post isn't against anyone including my ex wife that I still respect deeply. I am just PRO love. Can I do that without people feeling offended? Why does that make you mad?"

"Our black women have been held down for centuries ! I am now deciding to send them and my NEW WOMAN a lot of love. My post goes out to the new leading woman in my life, that I'm gonna tell everyday how beautiful she is from the inside out," he concluded his post on Instagram.
