'Trump didn't get ASAP rocky home, video evidence prior to the fight and his testimony got his home,' a Twitter user writes after POTUS appears to allude that the rapper's release has something to do with his intervene.

AceShowbiz - Everyone rejoices after A$AP Rocky has finally been released from Swedish prison following his arrest for alleged assault. One of those people is President Donald Trump, who shares his excitement on his Twitter account. However, Internet users seemingly think that POTUS is trying to take credit for the release.

"A$AP Rocky released from prison and on his way home to the United States from Sweden," he tweeted on Friday, August 2, seemingly alluding that A$AP was being released because of his work. "It was a Rocky Week, get home ASAP A$AP!"

It's true that Trump did attempt to intervene the legal issue on A$AP's behalf, but his request was shut down by Swedish Prime Minister Stefan Lofven. Trump previously slammed Lofven on Twitter, saying, "Very disappointed in Prime Minister Stefan Löfven for being unable to act. Sweden has let our African American Community down in the United States. I watched the tapes of A$AP Rocky, and he was being followed and harassed by troublemakers."

Now that Trump appeared to take the credit for A$AP's release, people begged to differ. "Trump didn't get ASAP rocky home, video evidence prior to the fight and his testimony got his home. I hate this orange douchebag," one user tweeted. "Trump didn't help asap rocky!! In sweden no president, prime minister or government can influence or help the prosecutor and the court. Trump didn't do anything," one other added.

"Hey Donald, you had nothing to do with the release of A$AP Rocky. Silly puns on his name aren't going to convince anyone that you're not a racist," another comment read. Meanwhile, another user accused the president for chasing "clout."

Following his release, A$AP immediately turned to Instagram to post a celebratory message to his followers. The 30-year-old rapper wrote, "THANK YOU FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART TO ALL OF MY FANS, FRIENDS AND ANYONE ACROSS THE GLOBE WHO SUPPORTED ME DURING THESE LAST FEW WEEKS I CANT BEGIN TO DESCRIBE HOW GRATEFUL I AM FOR ALL OF YOU THIS HAS BEEN A VERY DIFFICULT AND HUMBLING EXPERIENCE I WANT TO THANK THE COURT FOR ALLOWING ME BLADI AND THOTO TO RETURN TO OUR FAMILY AND FRIENDS THANKS AGAIN FOR ALL OF THE LOVE AND SUPPORT."
