AceShowbiz - Actress Natascha McElhone and Bokeem Woodbine are to star in a new series based on popular Xbox game "Halo".

The pair join Pablo Schreiber, Shabana Azmi, Bentley Kalu, Natasha Culzac, and Kate Kennedy in Showtime's highly-anticipated series.

McElhone will take on double duty star as the characters Dr. Catherine Halsey and Cortana, the most advanced artificial intelligence in human history, while Woodbine will play Soren-066.

The series will begin production in Budapest, Hungary later this year and is expected to air early in 2021.
