The VH1 personality tries to debunk the accusation by saying that being in jail has made her skin lighter, but many of her followers don't buy it and accuse her of lying.

AceShowbiz - Tommie Lee has been hit with cosmetic treatment accusation. The "Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta" star left people wondering whether or not she bleached her skin after she posted on Instagram on Tuesday, July 30 a new photo of herself.
In the photo, Tommie looked stunning as ever in a cropped red shirt and a black skirt that featured a high slit, teaming her look with massive gold hoop earrings and a couple of hair accessories. But instead of focusing on her beauty, her followers couldn't help but notice that her skin looks lighter than usual. This prompted people to speculate that she got her skin bleached.
"You was darken than Angela ye on the breakfast club interview," one pointed out. "But why you look a whole shade lighter," another asked, to which Tommie responded by saying that being in jail made her skin look lighter. "I been in jail while y'all been sun bating Luv," she said.
However, many people didn't buy her explanation as it only convinced them more that Tommie was indeed bleaching her skin. "Going to jail doesn't make you 2 shades lighter. Lol y'all still get yard time," one person said. "I'm from I know way too ppl that been to jail longer than her. She tried it." Another said, "So sis, you are just going to lie like that Tommie. It's not that serious to tell the truth," while one other similarly wrote, "The lies these celebrities tell damn it's above the universe."
Tommie previously lived behind the bars after she pleaded guilty to one count of cruelty to children in the first degree, three counts of simple battery, family violence and one count of disrupting public school. She was released on the Fourth of July with her family throwing a welcome home party for the reality TV star.
