AceShowbiz - Apollo Nida, who used to star on "The Real Housewives of Atlanta", was released again from Federal prison on Monday morning, July 29. The ex-husband of Phaedra Parks has now been moved to the halfway house facility in Philadelphia.
This will be the second time Apollo was released from prison. The TV personality was released from prison last month after serving more than 5 years in federal prison for fraud as he was accused of cashing stolen checks and laundering over $2.3 million through fake bank accounts. His original release date was originally on October 15.
However, Apollo's freedom didn't last long as he was re-arrested just 9 days later for allegedly violating his parole. "He was taken back into custody. I wouldn't say it was an arrest because it's not a new charge. It was an order of the court to bring him into custody," the representative told Page Six at the time. "We took him to Federal Bureau of Prisons and they will deal with it since he was in their custody."
It was said that Apollo had broken a technical condition of his release, though it was unclear what was it that the former Bravo star had violated.
Phaedra previously weighed in on the matter, revealing that their two sons, Ayden, 9, and Dylan, 6, were "sad" and "disappointed" over their dad's legal woes. "There's a box of Father's Day cards, mugs, little plates and things that they've made that I was going to send him," she said. "And so my youngest son was like, 'so daddy will be here for Father's Day?' And I had explained to him, no. He couldn't come anyway because he was in the halfway house transition home. But you know, they can't talk to him at all now because he's back in prison."
