AceShowbiz - Bow Wow landed on hot water after the rapper made an unnecessary crude remarks about ex-girlfriend Ciara during an Atlanta concert. Not only fans, but a few celebrities showed their negative reactions to Bow Wow after he said, "I had this b***h" first" in front of a packed house at Elleven45 Lounge. And now, a new report details how the "Thinkin Bout You" singer and her current husband Russell Wilson dealt with that.

According to HollywoodLife.com, the couple feels that Bow Wow was extremely "disrespectful." However, they don't plan to take the drama to get bigger as the source adds, "Ciara and Russell really have nothing to say about the whole Bow Wow situation."

It is also reportedly that the pair don't seem to feel the need to address the rapper's offensive remarks. "They are so above that drama and don't even have time to respond to something as petty as that. They're both living their best lives and super focused on their careers and new projects," explains the insider.

In addition to Ciara's successful new album "Beauty Marks", "Russell is 100 percent focused on the upcoming NFL season and he is for sure not going to let this Bow Wow nonsense get to him." The source continues, "Plus, he is [seen as a] role model. Why make this a thing he should care about?"

"When it comes to Russ and Ciara, they are taking the high road, at least publicly," the source says. Another insider concludes, "Ciara and Russell thought it was super disrespectful, and although they would like to see [Bow Wow] apologize, they doubt he will step up and do the right thing."

Bow Wow enraged people after a clip of him bragging about dating Ciara from 2004 to 2006 before she got married to the athlete hit the web. Nelly publicly blasted Bow Wow for it, as he said, "Bow Wow you need a hug… It's an intervention, Bow Wow." As for T.I., he said of the video, "Bro, you can't do that. You can't do that."
