AceShowbiz - Wesley Snipes has urged his fans to "chillaaxx" over the news he won't be back as "Blade" in a new take on the beloved vampire film franchise.
Marvel bosses announced Mahershala Ali will portray the vigilante in a new movie at Comic-Con over the weekend, and Wesley's fans are far from happy, insisting the film executives should have stuck with a winning formula.
"To all the DAYWALKERS losing their minds right now, Chillaaxx...," Snipes writes in a statement. "Such is the 'business' of 'entertainment!' Much peace to the MCU crew - always a fan."
And Snipes has no bad blood towards his Blade replacement, calling Oscar winner Ali "a beautiful and talented artist whose expressions I look forward to experiencing for many years to come".
Snipes starred in three "Blade" movies between 1998 and 2004.
