Months after the 'Riverdale' actor admitted to have struggled with the attention surrounding their romance, it is reported that he and his co-star have called it quits after two years.

AceShowbiz - "Riverdale" stars Cole Sprouse and Lili Reinhart have reportedly ended their two-year romance.

The pair attended San Diego Comic-Con International over the weekend (July 19-21) to promote the series, but according to Us Weekly, Sprouse was overheard telling a friend that he and Lili were no longer together.

In March, Sprouse told the Los Angeles Times that he and Reinhart were struggling with all the attention surrounding their relationship, explaining, "It's one of those things that I still sort of grapple with, and Lili and I grapple with."

Two months before that, in January, Reinhart shared a defiant Twitter message after tiring of the "toxic" energy constantly sent her way as critics attacked her work, her image and her love life.

"Do people on Twitter ever get tired of being so negative and disrespectful to literally everyone and everything? Are they really that miserable?" she wrote. "There's hate everywhere. But especially on Twitter. It's like a cesspool for evil 15-year-olds who don't know what the hell they're talking about and have nothing better to do."

The former couple endured an emotional weekend alongside their castmates as they paid tribute to late co-star Luke Perry, who died of a stroke in March. As part of a panel event at Comic-Con, they shared a video tribute to the actor before revealing the debut episode of the series' season 4 would serve as a full tribute to Perry and his character Fred Andrews.
