AceShowbiz - Rich The Kid is aiming for a small screen debut and he relies to the power of social media in his attempt to get a TV role. The Atlanta rapper slided in 50 Cent's comment section to get his attention while making his interest in starring on his popular "Power" series.
Fif, who stars on in addition to executive producing the Starz series, took to his Instagram account on Wednesday, July 17 to share that he was "on the move again" ahead of season 6 of "Power".
Rich seemingly decided that it was the perfect time to let his intent known. The "Save That" rapper wrote in the comment section, "Put a n***a on the show."
Fans found it hilarious with some of them making fun of Rich's acting skills. "No n***a you'll sound like ur reading," one fan opposed the idea of him starring on the show. Another fan shaded Rich for his beef with Lil Uzi Vert, saying, "you might run around cause lil uzi might be there." Meanwhile, one user dubbed the idea of putting Rich on the show "would be a bad business decision."
Rumors previously said that upcoming season 6 would be the final season of the hit crime drama series. However, 50 Cent later clarified that the rumors were not true as he announced on May 9 that it would be wrapping up after one more run.
50 insists fans won't be left hanging for long, as he and Courtney are developing four related shows based on the same characters from "Power". "It's the final season of 'Power' but it's an extended season of 15 shows instead of 10," the rapper and actor shared on U.S. daytime show "Strahan & Sara".
Earlier this month, Starz dropped the official trailer for the highly-anticipated season. "POWER Season 6 is gonna have you like at the edge of your seat. Trust me it’s #1 for a reason," the "In Da Club" rapper teased on Instagram. Season 6 of "Power" will premiere on August 25 on Starz.
