Believing he will be too old when the film gets greenlit, the 'Shazam!' star jokes at CCXP Cologne that he will make sure the actor landing the part 'understands what that smoulder means.'

AceShowbiz - Zachary Levi is uncertain he would be the right person to voice the role of Flynn Rider in a live-action version of Disney movie "Tangled".

With classic Disney movies such as "The Lion King (2019)" and "The Little Mermaid (2020)" getting digital makeovers, fans of the 2010 animation are keen to see "Tangled" join the list. However, the "Shazam!" star admitted he thinks he'll be too old to reprise the role of Flynn by the time it gets greenlit.

"As much as I would love to play Flynn Rider in a live-action 'Tangled', by the time they get around to that, I don't think I'm gonna be the right guy to play that role," Zachary told a panel at CCXP Cologne, as reported by the website Comic Book Movie. "I'll be there coaching that guy, I'll make sure he understands what that smoulder means, but I think my hair will be like Steve Martin white by the time they do a live-action 'Tangled'."

The 38-year-old jokingly added: "So in lieu of playing Flynn Rider in a live-action 'Tangled', I would say, I don't know... Ariel from 'The Little Mermaid', maybe."

Levi is still in touch with the Disney rogue, as he voices Flynn in the "Tangled" television series.
