Police confirm the 17-year-old Instagram user, who is popular among gamers, died from severe neck injury after her boyfriend Brandon Andrew Clark slit her throat.

AceShowbiz - Popular Instagram user Bianca Devins was brutally killed by her boyfriend. The 17-year-old girl, who cultivated an online following particularly among gamers, died after Brandon Andrew Clark, 21, whom she was dating, slit her throat in Utica over the weekend.

The Utica police confirm Bianca died of extensive injuries to her neck. Brandon, who lives in upstate New York, later uploaded a grisly photo of his girlfriend's deceased body on Instagram along with a message that said, "I am sorry Bianca."

On Sunday, July 14, at around 7:20 A.M., police responded to several 911 calls in Utica, New York about a suicidal man who claimed to have killed a woman, CNN reports. When officers arrived, the man began to stab his neck with a knife. Police then saw brown hair protruding from underneath a tarp on the ground, and the suspect confirmed it belonged to the woman he said he harmed.

According to police, the pair, who met on a dating application two months ago, went to a concert in Queens, New York on Saturday night. They got into an argument at the show and drove back. On the way home, Brandon allegedly pulled onto a side street in Utica and killed her, before he injured himself with a knife. Brandon was rushed to St. Elizabeth's Hospital, where he underwent surgery. He has been since charged with the second-degree murder of Bianca.

"It is believed that he took and distributed photographs of the killing on the Discord platform," police said. A Discord spokesperson said in a statement on Monday, "We are shocked and deeply saddened by this terrible situation. We are working closely with law enforcement to provide any assistance we can. In the meantime, our hearts go out to Bianca's family and loved ones."

Bianca's family has released a statement on her tragic death. "We are very grateful for the outpouring of love and sympathy we have received from our Friends, Family, Bianca's Friends and the whole community. Your prayers help to strengthen us through this difficult time," it read.

The statement continued, "Bianca, age 17, was a talented artist, a loving sister, daughter, and cousin, and a wonderful young girl, taken from us all too soon. She is now looking down on us, as she joins her cat, Belle, in heaven. Bianca's smile brightened our lives. She will always be remembered as our Princess."

"Bianca graduated from T. R. Proctor High School this past June and was looking forward to attending MVCC in the fall," according to the family's statement.
