The Barbadian singer previously promised her devotees that her next album, which still doesn't have a title, would be hitting the stores this year, but she has yet to give any update after that.

AceShowbiz - Rihanna has teased her fans with a social media post suggesting she is set to release a new album this month.

Fans of the singer are anxiously awaiting new music after three years since her previous album. And on Thursday, July 11, she hilariously trolled them with a post on her Instagram account.

The star shared a video clip from "Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta", which had American TV personality Karlie Redd reading out results of a lie detector test. In the video, an upset Karlie says "Guys, it was all a lie."

Captioning the video, Rihanna wrote: "Nobody: ___ Me: Album coming in 2019 Navy in July: ___"

According to a report from People, the 31-year-old had promised fans they would be hearing new music from her this year and, as that's yet to happen, she's trolling them by implying that they are now calling her a liar.

Despite their disappointment, fans approved of the Work singer's humorous post.

"i can't believe i stan a liar......" wrote one fan, while another posted, "when this album drop i will be a grandmother already."

The star's celebrity fans also enjoyed the joke, with comic Kevin Hart replying with multiple laughing emojis, and "Happy" singer Pharrell Williams quipping: "They ain't read."
