Tanisha Foster, who is the mother of Nipsey's daughter Emani Asghedom, says in court documents that the late rapper's family tries to reduce her as a mother and cuts her off financially since his death.

AceShowbiz - The custody battle over Nipsey Hussle's daughter Emani Asghedom is far from being over. The rapper's ex Tanisha Foster, who is the mother of his 10-year-old daughter, has filed a motion to oppose the joint guardianship petition filed by Nipsey's sister, brother and mother.

In court documents obtained by The Blast, Tanisha argues, "I strongly oppose both of the petitions filed by Samantha Alexandria Smith, Samiel Asghedom and Angelique Smith. I am the other of Emani Asghedom and there is no good reason my rights as her mother should be taken away from me, or otherwise reduced as her mother."

She claims there has never been a "court order ever taking Emani away from me; or any court order that indicates that is not in her best interest to have me in her life," adding that she and Nipsey "always shared the responsibility of parenting Emani."

Tanisha further accuses Nipsey's family of trying to portray her as "an unfit mother" and "a golddigger" and cutting her off financially since the rapper's death. "No one seems to care about the impact Ermias' [Nipsey's real name is Ermias Joseph Asghedom] death has had upon me and Emani. I have been maligned as being an unfit mother, a golddigger, and someone not worthy of any voice in the matter of my daughter and her future. I have no financial means of my own to care for myself or Emani," she states.

She says that the "They Roll" hitmaker used to give her "substantial sums of cash that I used for the benefit of Emani and myself." But now she has has "had to depend on the goodwill of family and friends for my food, clothing, shelter and transportation. Ermias had always provided for these needs up until his date of death."

"When he suddenly died," Tanisha additionally claims, "I came home one day to discover that the locks had been changed. His family is not willing to pay the rent. I am still in the process of putting all of my personal belongings into a storage facility."

She goes on arguing, "If everyone was truly interested in doing what is best for Emani, they would treat me as her mother and not in the manner that they have."

Nipsey's sister Samantha Smith was awarded temporary custody of Nipsey and Tanisha's daughter Emani following the death of the hip-hop star on March 31. Tanisha claimed in May that Samantha took her daughter "unlawfully" and refused to give her back. She claimed that she hadn't seen her daughter in months at the time.

In other Nipsey Hussle news, T.I. will honor the late rapper at his Lil Trap House pop-up this weekend in the parking lot of Delicious Pizza Hollywood.
