AceShowbiz - Elizabeth Banks is dusting off Stone Age cartoon "The Flintstones" to launch a modern reboot.
The star is developing the animated TV series, which according to Variety features the beloved Flintstones characters in all-new storyline, with bosses at Warner Bros. under her company, Brownstone Productions.
The original Hanna-Barbera show ran in the U.S. from 1960-66 and inspired two live-action feature films in 1994 and 2000.
Banks recently revamped another TV classic, directing the upcoming "Charlie's Angels" movie, starring herself, Kristen Stewart, Naomi Scott and Ella Balinska.
