Former Scientologist Sam Domingo, who is the daughter-in-law of opera singer Placido Domingo, feels compelled to speak up about the unfair treatment received by Tom's kids following his divorce from Nicole Kidman.

AceShowbiz - A former Scientology member has spoken up about the unfair treatment that Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman's children, Isabella and Connor, have received following their parents' split. Sam Domingo, who is the daughter-in-law of famous opera singer Placido Domingo, says in an interview with DailyMailTV that Isabella and Bella were pressured to excommunicate their mom following her divorce from Tom.

Sam, who used to study Scientology with Tom's family, says her children would play with Tom's kids and she was especially close to the actor's three sisters, Cass Mapother, Marian Henry and Lee Ann DeVette. Sam says Isabella and Connor were just regular kids at Scientology's Celebrity Centre where she worked as a supervisor, but it all changed after their parents' divorce.

According to Sam, the children lived an isolated "boot camp" experience and was separated from the other kids, under the watchful eye of Scientology No. 2 Marty Rathbun, who has since left the Church. They were led into believing that their mother Nicole was a "Suppressive Person," that's why they should not talk to her.

"I know what techniques they used," she claims. "I know what the second-in-command at the time Marty Rathbun did, he was so tough on them, the Cruise kids had no choice. After the divorce, they were indoctrinated into Scientology and very much isolated."

Sam also says that the Church controls Tom's whole family, including his mother Mary Lee. "They were in it 100 percent, there was no wavering," she reveals. "You can't be anti-Scientology if you're part of Tom's family, you will be disconnected - look at his daughter Suri."

Sam claims she had kept quiet out of loyalty to Tom and his sister Cass, but she felt compelled to speak up after the Church "started using Isabella, I feel sorry for that kid." In March this year, Isabella was featured in a Scientology promo in London in which she thanked the Church and her father for finding a "missing piece" of herself.

Sam said 26-year-old Isabella is being "used" as Scientology's "poster girl." She explained, "Isabella's being used for PR, she's Tom Cruise's kid, it's not fair what they're doing to her and Connor. They have no choice but to be the poster kids of Scientology now."

A spokesperson for the Church of Scientology has denied all of Sam's claims, saying she has been making false allegations about the Church for a long time.
