On Friday night, June 28, the rapper was rushed to St. Francis Medical Center after being shot nine times, including in his upper and lower back, in Compton.

AceShowbiz - This is indeed such a miracle. In late last month, Slim 400 was rushed into hospital after he became a target in drive-by shooting. Thanks to the effort of hospital staff, the rapper manages to survive the shooting and he has since updated fans on his condition, taking to Instagram on Wednesday, July 10 to share his first photo from the hospital and express his gratitude.

In the photo, Slim was seen laying in his hospital bed. Even though he still needed a respiratory support to help him breathe, the Frankfurt-born musician was able to make light of the situation and promise to treat hospital staff once he gets better. "I wanna thank the staff at the hospital for helpin me shake back I owe y'all #Roscoes or #TacoMell 4 life," he wrote in the caption.

Mocking his shooters for failing to kill him, Slim added, "God I thank whoeva was poppin 4 buyn them shells at walmart I'm here 4 a reason Hol'Upppp."

Slim was rushed to St. Francis Medical Center after being shot nine times in Compton on Friday night, June 28. According to reports, multiple masked gunmen opened fire on him from a moving vehicle when the rapper was on the phone with his business partner Mud Dollaz. Slim was hit in his upper and lower back, jaw and the top of his head. The suspect fled the scene right after.

Following four successful surgeries, Slim was moved from the ICU floor to a regular floor on Monday, July 8. He's still in rough shape but clearly improving. During his recovery, his friend and close collaborator YG stayed by his side. "400 Hunnit n****s don't die the money multiply," the "Go Loko" rapper said of his friend, before telling fans not to worry about Slim. "The home alive, don't even worry about that."

Police have yet to identify the suspects.
