AceShowbiz - Trouble in paradise? Nicki Minaj and boyfriend Kenneth Petty appeared to be fighting online during the "Anaconda" hitmaker's recent Live broadcast on Instagram.
On Monday, July 8, Nicki went on Live to have a chat with her fans. Things were okay until the Young Money femcee asked his boyfriend to greet the Barbz. However, his response indicated that he wasn't thrilled to do so.
"Babe, you wanna say hi to the Barbz? They think you hate them," the self-proclaimed black Barbie told her man. Responding in a disrespectful tone, Kenneth said, "It's time you get off that s**t [Instagram]."
Nicki then raised her voice a bit and told him, "Oh my God, you is so extra."
Following the brief spat, fans were quickly flooding the comment section with messages of telling her to break up with Kenneth. A fan said on Instagram, "Nobody like his ponk sissy a** anyway , who wants to converse with a convicted murderer and sex offender tf...," referencing to Kenneth's past crime history. Another fan wrote, "He sounds abusive."
"Why is he so rude for ? Like there is no reason," one fan wondered. "Anyways. Our queen need to leave that n***a," one fan wrote. "I understand that she's in love but even the fanbase is warning her about him. She need to take notes and input it to her actual life before it's too late."
Despite fans' disapproval, Nicki is seemingly serious with her relationship with Kenneth. Back in June, the raptress revealed in one episode of Queen Radio that she and her boyfriend had obtained a marriage license.
"We did get our marriage license," the 36-year-old Barbadian star saidin the June 21 episode, which also featured guests Trina and Blac Chyna. "I think I have what I was striving for, just happiness. It was so hard to get to a happy place. Now that I'm there, I don't want to compromise that for anyone or anything."
