Two thirds of what the fired 'Bohemian Rhapsody' director is paying Cesar Sanchez-Guzman, who accused him of forced sex, will reportedly go towards settling the latter's debts.

AceShowbiz - "Bohemian Rhapsody" director Bryan Singer has been given the greenlight to settle with his alleged rape victim.

A planned deal worth $150,000 (£120,000) has been approved by a federal judge, according to The Blast.

According to court documents the claims against the filmmaker will be dismissed now the settlement has been signed off, ending Singer's legal spat with Cesar Sanchez-Guzman, who accused the director of raping him when he was 17.

Reports suggest more than two thirds of Singer's hand-out will go towards settling Sanchez-Guzman's debts.

In his 2017 lawsuit, the accuser claimed Singer forced him to perform oral sex before allegedly penetrating him anally on a yacht off the coast of Seattle, Washington.

Singer responded to the lawsuit by focusing on a 2014 bankruptcy case filed by Sanchez-Guzman, claiming his accuser violated the law by not disclosing the rape allegation in his previous filing. Singer also claimed that since the alleged incident occurred in 2003, the statute of limitations had expired.

Singer agreed to pay $150,000 to Sanchez-Guzman last month (June 2019), while denying any wrongdoing.
