Breaking silence over his split from the Victoria's Secret model, the music artist lets out a lengthy message on his Instagram page in which he describes her as 'the greatest love he has ever known.'

AceShowbiz - DJ Ruckus labelled estranged wife Shanina Shaik "the most beautiful woman on this planet" in a touching post as he reflected on their split for the first time.

The Victoria's Secret beauty wed Ruckus, real name Gregory Andrews, in April, 2018 on Lenny Kravitz's private island in the Bahamas, where they had become engaged in 2015, but last month (June 2019), the couple announced it was parting ways.

It seems things on still on good terms between the pair, however, with Ruckus paying a gushing tribute to his former spouse in a lengthy message on his Instagram page on Sunday, July 07.

"Where do I even start? I'm Sorry to everyone in the world that was rooting for our love, or believed in love themselves more because of how great our love looked from there point of view," he began. "May I ask you all don't stop believing. To all of the people in the world that are going through tough times stay strong! This is the hardest thing I have dealt with in my life emotionally. Yet I remind myself the life I live and so many others in my circle, is so far beyond... blessed it's hard to cry about anything. Shanina is the greatest love I have ever known, she has made me a better man, and shown me what it feels like to be safely guarded respected and supported by a real woman."

Thanking the universe for "aligning our short time together" and Shanina's parents "for creating you", Ruckus continued to tell fans that while the pair seemed perfect from the outside - it was a different story away from the camera.

"I would have never guessed us to end," he mused. "I hoped we could beat all the odds against us the careers the travel the cultural differences. I would like the world to know nothing traumatic happened we just aren't compatible the way we need to be to maintain a marriage. We are not happy together as it seemed in pictures and interviews. We tried hard! We had beautiful timez (sic)!! Just because life is blessed does not mean everything works and or is easy! I pray we grow and achieve all of what we want in life. Your THE MOST BEAUTIFUL WOMAN ON THIS PLANET DONT EVER FORGET IT AND GO GET ALL OF WHAT YOU DESERVE!!!"
