Although the 'Driven' star adamantly denied Sarah Scott's allegations of him masturbating in front of her, the union officials have ruled that he is guilty of 'serious misconduct.'

AceShowbiz - "Driven" star Kip Pardue has been found guilty of "serious misconduct" by union bosses at SAG-AFTRA following a sexual harassment complaint filed by an actress.

Sarah Scott accused him of masturbating in front of her shortly after they filmed a scene together for TV drama "Mogulettes" in May 2018. She also alleged Pardue placed her hand on his crotch while they were waiting to film the sex scene.

In their ruling, obtained by the Los Angeles Times, the union officials admonished the actor for his "inappropriate and unprofessional conduct," while fining Pardue $6,000 (£4,800).

The actor, who also appeared in the films "The Rules of Attraction" and "Remember the Titans", denied the allegations and his attorney told the Times that Pardue "never engaged in any non-consensual behavior."

In a statement to the Times in October, Pardue insisted he "misread the situation during a sex scene on set" and had apologised to his co-star, adding, "I never intended to offend her in any way and deeply regret my actions and have learned from my behavior."

As well as filing an official complaint with the union, Scott filed a police report in August (18).

Union officials held a hearing into the matter on 20 March.

Scott tells the Times she has mixed feelings about how her case was handled, explaining she "would have liked to have seen a couple of years' suspension, but this is a step in the right direction."

She adds, "What was the most important for me was that others who come forward in the future know that the union is willing to take these complaints seriously and create a space where they can be heard."
