The Bucky Barnes depicter makes himself the butt of the joke for having to re-introduce himself to his 'Avengers' co-star for the third time when they meet at the Valentino Couture Show in Paris.

AceShowbiz - While many have known Sebastian Stan for portraying Bucky Barnes in several Marvel movies, including "Avengers: Infinity War" and "Avengers: Endgame", her co-star Gwyneth Paltrow still didn't know him. The 36-year-old actor, who has met with the Academy Award-winning actress on at least three separate occasions, has poked fun at the fact that he had to re-introduce himself for the third time during their recent meeting.

Sebastian bumped into Gwyneth when they attended the Valentino Couture Show in Paris on Wednesday night, July 3. Sharing a photo of their encounter on Instagram, the "I, Tonya" star recalled his hilarious interaction with the blonde beauty.

"Just barely managed to photobomb the great @pppiccioli and legend @realmrvalentino here... Thank you both for inviting me to my first couture show in [France]. Also glad I got to reintroduce myself to @gwynethpaltrow for the third time. We are in the same film...," he wrote in the caption.

But Sebastian should not be offended that Gwyneth forgot they ever worked together. The "Shakespeare in Love" star also had no recollection of starring in "Spider-Man: Homecoming" before her co-star Jon Favreau reminded her.

"Remember we were in 'Spider-Man'?" the "Iron Man" director asked the actress during an appearance on his Netflix show "The Chef Show". "We weren't in 'Spider-Man'," Gwyneth responded, insisting that they were in "Avengers", but never in a "Spider-Man" film.

It wasn't until Jon detailed their scene that Gwyneth realized the movie they were shooting for. "Remember, Spider-Man at the end, and Tom Holland's there and you're gonna walk out and do a press conference?" he asked. "Oh yes," she remembered. "That was 'Spider-Man'? Oh my God!"

Responding to this, Tom said during an interview with PopSugar, "I mean, I've only worked with Gwyneth one time, on 'Spider-Man: Homecoming', which she doesn't remember. Which still to this day breaks my heart."

He then corrected himself as he remembered that they also had worked together in "Avengers: Endgame". "No, actually no, that's not true," he added. "One time when we were shooting 'Endgame', she was in her blue suit, and I was in my Spider-Man suit, and she came up and she asked me for a photo with me and Robert (Downey, Jr.) And I think she posted it and she said, 'Robert Downey Jr. and myself and this guy'. I was just the guy. It was cute."
