AceShowbiz - Now that "The Bachelorette" is nearing its end, people are wondering who will be heading to "The Bachelor" among Hannah Brown's eliminated guys. And Bachelor Nation seemingly assume that the official account of "The Bachelorette" may be offering a hint with its recent tweet about one particular contestant.
Mike Johnson was sent home in the latest episode of the ABC dating show. Following his elimination, the account shared a video of Mike which highlighted his smile. The words, "Goodbye, Mike. We will miss your smile!" flickered on the screen. "Mike brings a big smile to all of our faces," so the account wrote alongside the clip.
He might not be Hannah's favorite, but it seemed like fans liked him quite a lot. That was shown in how he gained a huge following after the show. Some of his fans demand ABC to make him the next "The Bachelor", writing, "My smile will be bigger if he gets announced as the next Bachelor."
"you know it's time for your first African American bachelor and there is no man more deserving than Mike so let's make it happen," another person urged. "I feel as if this is a test. YES, ABC we want him as the next bachelor," another comment read.
Mike didn't only catch the attention of Bachelor Nation. Demi Lovato took to social media to declare her love to the Air Force Vet. It all started after Mike tweeted on Monday, July 1 following the episode, "Jus saying, my future wife though girl you ready for smiles, adventure, comfort, growth, honesty, laughter, me falling using my inhaler and kissing your stretch marks and imperfections. Where u hiding." Demi fans, who know how much she loves Mike, quickly jumped to the comment section to recommend the songstress.
In fact, another fan even took screenshot of his tweet and reposted it on Instagram, bringing it to Demi's attention. She eagerly responded, "I'M RIGHT HERE MIKE I'M RIGHT HERE BOO MY MOM ALREADY LOVES YOU TOO."
The "Sorry Not Sorry" hitmaker has always been vocals about her love for Mike since the beginning of the season because every week, she takes to Instagram Stories to document herself watching "The Bachelorette". On Monday, she shared footage from Mike's one-on-one date, writing, "Mike I accept your rose."
"His smile! And his eyes!" she continued gushing. "He smiles with his eyes. And he always picks her up and swings her when he hugs her. Swing me! Kiss me!"
