Dominating the Billboard chart for the 13th week, 'Old Town Road' surpasses the 12 weeks Wiz Khalifa and Charlie Puth's 'See You Again' spent atop the singles countdown back in 2015.

AceShowbiz - Rapper Lil Nas X has set a new U.S. chart record after earning his 13th week atop the singles countdown.

The newcomer's "Old Town Road" collaboration with country music veteran Billy Ray Cyrus now boasts the title of the longest-running number one by a hip-hop artist in Billboard Hot 100 history, surpassing the 12 weeks Wiz Khalifa and Charlie Puth's "See You Again" spent in first place in 2015.

The Black Eyed Peas and Eminem also racked up 12 weeks at the top with their respective hits "Boom Boom Pow" in 2009 and "Lose Yourself" in 2002 and 2003.

"Old Town Road" is only the 12th song ever to lead the Hot 100 for at least 13 weeks, and the first since Luis Fonsi, Daddy Yankee, and Justin Bieber's "Despacito" ruled the chart for 16 weeks in 2017.

The track's continued dominance forces Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello to settle for a second-place debut with their steamy "Senorita", as Billie Eilish takes third place with "Bad Guy".

Meanwhile, Jack White's reunited band The Raconteurs have cemented their comeback by taking "Help Us Stranger" to number one on the Billboard 200 with 88,000 equivalent sales units.

The follow-up to 2008's "Consolers of the Lonely" marks the first U.S. chart-topper of the group's career, although it's frontman White's fourth consecutive album to top the countdown.

Lil Nas X's EP, "7", is also new at two, with Eilish's "When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?" holding at three, followed by the Jonas Brothers' "Happiness Begins" at four and Khalid's "Free Spirit" rounding out the new top five.
