Revealing that she weighed 203 lbs. after her daughter True was born, the 'Revenge Body' host was disappointed by the fact that she didn't instantly get skinny again after giving birth.

AceShowbiz - Khloe Kardashian is one of female celebrities with an enviable body, but she had a long journey to regain her ideal weight after giving birth to her daughter True. The mother of one tells PEOPLE that she reached 203 lbs. on the scale after her baby was born and was surprised by the fact that she didn't immediately lose her baby weight after delivering her daughter with her ex Tristan Thompson.

"In my head I felt like I would push the baby out and then I'll be skinny again," the "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star admits. "Then you get home from the hospital and you're like, 'What?' It's a big shock."

But Khloe was determined to gain her slim figure again. "As soon as I got clearance from my doctor, I was [in the gym]," she claims, though admitting that she struggled a lot when she started to work out again. "I was so excited to start working out again. Mentally I was there. But physically, I couldn't do it. I was out of breath. I didn't know how I was going to get to my end goal."

She didn't give up though and decided to take "it really slow" instead. "I did it day by day. If I could get through that workout, I did. But you're not going to get it back in a day," she shares, encouraging other moms out there "to be kinder to ourselves."

"It took nine months to gain the weight, give yourself at least a year to take it off. You have to adjust," she advises fellow moms. "And you're juggling with a baby and your life and trying to do those moments that are about you. You have to be kind and learn how to balance it all."

As the result of her hard work, the 35-year-old reality TV star says, "I was really proud of myself for not being as hard on myself. On Kylie's 21st birthday I was in a crop top and high-waisted pants. I wasn't at my thinnest at all, but I was so proud for getting to where I was at that time. I was like, 'I'm going to show this off!' "
